Will GTA 6 Run at 30 FPS?

Post-show canonical Updated August 30, 2026

Rockstar North development head Rob Nelson is reported to have said current console builds run at 30 FPS. No 60 FPS mode, 40 FPS mode, platform-specific target, or final launch performance menu has been announced.

The short answer

What changed on August 27
