What languages does GTA 6 support?
Thirteen, as one list. The Rockstar Store’s Supported Languages line names English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Japanese, Polish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain), and Portuguese (Brazil). Grand Theft Auto VI launches Thursday, November 19, 2026 on PS5 & Xbox Series X|S.

That order and those names are the Supported Languages section on the Rockstar Store page for Grand Theft Auto VI, read September 30, 2026. The page does not mark any language with an audio asterisk, and it does not split the 13 into menus, subtitles, and spoken dialogue.
At the September 17, 2026 Take-Two annual meeting, Strauss Zelnick answered a question about international marketing by saying the company will launch the title in 13 languages, localized, which is typical, and that this is the initial set. He said more languages can follow over time. Because the question was about Latin America, he added that the launch includes Spanish and Portuguese and all major European languages. Those are already inside the store list. He did not publish a second list.
Why “English voice only” is not on this page
Other guides print the 13 names and then add a dubbing rule this page will not repeat. The source they lean on is Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V supported-languages article, which does separate interface, full audio, and subtitles, and which limits full audio to English. That article is about V. The VI store page does not repeat the split. Copying it forward would turn a previous game’s support note into a claim about this one.
The same restraint applies to languages that are absent. Turkish, Arabic, and Hindi are not on the VI store line. Absence is not a Rockstar sentence that those languages were refused. Zelnick’s “over time, we will launch in other languages” is the only forward-looking line, and it names no extra language.
Spanish (Mexico) is the store’s wording. It is not a promise that Latin American Spanish voice-over is recorded, and it is not the older “Spanish - Latin America” label from the GTA V article. This page keeps the VI wording.
What the language list does not decide
Languages do not add a platform. Confirmed machines stay PS5 & Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. PC is still unannounced. That board is the platforms guide.
Digital preload opens November 12, 2026 at local midnight so a preorder is ready on release day. Preload is not early access, and Rockstar has not published an install size. That answer stays on the preload guide.
The age rating is also unpublished. Take-Two says the game is not yet rated, and the US Xbox listing says Rating Pending. That is the age-rating guide, not a line in this list. Edition prices stay on the editions comparison.

Frequently asked questions
What languages does GTA 6 support?
The Rockstar Store lists 13: English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Japanese, Polish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain), and Portuguese (Brazil).
Is GTA 6 dubbed, or subtitles only?
The store line does not say. It is one “Supported Languages” list. Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V support article separates interface, full audio, and subtitles, and full audio there is English. There is no equivalent split published for VI on the store page this guide uses. This page does not copy the GTA V audio rule onto VI.
Will GTA 6 add more languages?
At Take-Two’s September 17, 2026 shareholder meeting, CEO Strauss Zelnick said the game launches in 13 languages, localized, and that this is the initial set. He said more languages can follow over time. He also said Spanish, Portuguese, and major European languages are part of the launch — those are already inside the 13. He did not name a 14th language.
Is GTA 6 in Turkish, Arabic, or Hindi?
Those three are not on the Rockstar Store supported-languages line checked September 30, 2026. Missing from that line is not a statement that Rockstar will never add them. Zelnick said further languages can come after the initial 13.
Does the language list change the release date?
No. Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 & Xbox Series X|S. Digital preload opens November 12, 2026 at local midnight. Language support is not a platform announcement and not an age rating.
