Buy Standard ($79.99) if you want the full single-player game at the lowest confirmed price — you can add the Ultimate Edition Upgrade later for about $20. Buy Ultimate ($99.99) if you want exclusive vehicles, shops, weapons, and story-threaded activities bundled now. There is no Collector’s Edition.
Is the $20 Ultimate upgrade worth it?
The $20 gap is the Ultimate Edition Upgrade: exclusive cars, boats, mod shops, vendors, weapons, apparel, and bonus activities that unlock across story chapters. It does not change the core campaign. If those extras matter at launch, Ultimate is the simpler buy; if not, Standard plus an optional later upgrade is enough.
Does GTA 6 have a PC edition?
No. Rockstar has only announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for November 19, 2026. A PC version and price remain unannounced — do not treat press guesses as store SKUs.

Travel advisory
The physical edition has no disc
The boxed Standard version of GTA 6 contains a one-time download code redeemed to your PSN or Xbox account — there is no disc at launch, and reporting suggests none is planned later. Ultimate is digital-only. The move drew significant backlash from collectors, and some retailers declined to stock the boxed edition at all. If owning media on a disc matters to you, know that going in.
