The date is locked — Thursday, November 19, 2026 on PS5 & Xbox Series X|S. Sony’s regional PS5 listings show staggered release times. The three verified listings below are for Ultimate Edition; they do not establish an Xbox unlock schedule. Store timestamps can change before launch.
Checked September 10: New Zealand lists November 18 at 11:00 UTC (midnight NZDT November 19); the UK lists November 19 at 00:00 UTC (midnight GMT); and the US lists November 19 at 05:00 UTC (midnight ET, or 9 PM Pacific November 18). Your purchase’s store region matters, not just your device’s time zone. Those unlock clocks are not the download-code groups on the region-lock guide.
The clocks and comparison table below remain illustrative scenarios, not personalized store unlock promises. They convert hypothetical schedules to your time zone.
Scenario A · If Rockstar uses local midnight…
12:00 AM
Thu, Nov 19 · your local midnight
Every region’s store flips at its own midnight, so the game reaches New Zealand first and the US West Coast last. Whatever your clock says, you’d be playing the moment November 19 starts.
20d 13h 59m until your midnight
Scenario B · If it’s a simultaneous global unlock…
5:00 AM UTC
Thu, Nov 19 · your local time
One switch for the whole planet. Expect it around midnight Eastern Time on November 19 — that’s 5:00 AM UTC — which lands mid-morning in Europe, afternoon in Asia, and the evening of November 18 on the US West Coast.

Under local midnight, every city below unlocks at its own 12:00 AM on November 19. Under a global unlock anchored to midnight ET, each city gets the same instant on a different clock — some of them still on November 18.
