The Vapid Dominator GT is a two-door convertible muscle car from Grand Theft Auto Online's The Chop Shop update that is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. The wiki notes a fully redesigned interior for the car, identifiable by details such as its A-pillar design.
Ambrosia Car-Wash Screenshot
The Dominator GT was shown in an official Grand Theft Auto VI screenshot set in Ambrosia. A man resembling Wyman drives it through a car wash. The image reveals a reworked cabin, including the windshield-pillar shape, mirror position, soft roof, and a speedometer marked “Dominator.”
Its dashboard also appears to have a working infotainment display. The touchscreen matches one visible in another official image of a four-door saloon. The GT is listed as a Vapid muscle vehicle with a muscle-car body type.
Mustang and Camaro Influences
Its primary real-world basis appears to be the 2018–2023 Ford Mustang convertible from the S550 generation. The side vent draws from the Mustang California Special, while the grille’s central bar resembles that of the 2015 Galpin Fisker Rocket.
The lower body-side treatment, skirts, exhaust outlets, and rear diffuser take cues from the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Although the lamps resemble Mustang units, their five-light arrangement is likely derived from the Dominator GTT.
Earlier Online Appearance
Before its GTA VI appearance, the Dominator GT arrived in Grand Theft Auto Online with The Chop Shop update. It was sold through Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $2,195,000 and was presented as a two-door soft-top model following the Dominator GTX in the Dominator line.
In Online first-person view, the driver’s hands do not contact the steering wheel; the same issue affects the Vigero ZX Convertible. Fitting any Rear Bumper modification also removes the rear plate lamp.
