Granger 3600LX

The GTA VI version retains the Granger 3600LX’s established overall shape but changes several details at the back. Its tailgate gains a handle within the licence-plate recess, now set in a separate mounting surround. The reversing lamps and indicators trade positions, and both the lamp textures and rear glass are revised.

A horizontal crease is added across the tailgate at the level of the reversing lamps. The former twin-exit exhaust arrangement is replaced by one outlet on the left beneath the rear bumper. Above the plate, the Declasse emblem becomes a chrome-and-black winged form. The passenger-side tailgate also carries a visible “3500 LX” badge that was present in the badge files of the Online vehicle but not displayed on its body there.

Its principal real-world reference is the eleventh-generation Chevrolet Suburban, chassis designation GMTK2YC. The cabin is also derived from that Suburban, rather than using the older Granger interior. The headlamp outlines omit the Suburban’s lower outer tab and consequently resemble those of the second-generation Nissan Armada, Y62.

The tail lamps follow the Suburban’s basic form but use a different internal arrangement resembling the 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra, XK50. Other borrowed GM elements include the front bumper treatment of the fourth-generation GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, although without their fog lamps, plus grille, tailgate and side-trim cues from the fourth-generation Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV.

The 3600LX serves as the newer counterpart to the earlier Granger. It is substantially bigger and arrives in a more upmarket specification, with chrome around the exterior and standard running boards. Four occupants can sit inside, while another four can stand on the side platforms and hold the roof rails; passengers outside can use assault rifles and light machine guns while it is moving.

The newer cabin has a larger dashboard, climate vents, radio display and several cupholders. Its main instruments are shared with the original Granger and other GTA V SUVs, but warning lamps sit between the gauges. A small display appears above them, and the steering-wheel horn pad bears Declasse branding. The name 3600LX refers back to the original model’s full designation, whose rear badging identified it as a 3500LX.

In GTA Online, Declasse sells the 3600LX as an SUV-class vehicle, with a Light Truck body type. Southern San Andreas Super Autos lists it for $2,000,000, reduced to $1,500,000 after the player completes five Security Contracts as a leader. Before the Los Santos Drug Wars price revision, it cost $1,380,000, with a $1,035,000 trade price.

Los Santos Customs and other mod shops can alter the vehicle, while Agency Vehicle Workshops handle its special equipment. The body uses a primary paint colour and a separate seat-stitching colour; its six-spoke wheels can have their own colour only on naturally spawned examples. Fitting armour plating replaces the exterior chrome with black trim and adds side armour panels, stronger explosive resistance and windows that usually survive 15 firearm hits.

An Agency workshop can fit front machine guns for the driver and slick proximity mines, which spill oil without damaging vehicles or people. It can also receive either a Remote Control Unit or Missile Lock-on Jammer, not both. Remote operation is locked to first-person camera, while the jammer prevents targeting by homing launchers and weaponized vehicles. Roof modifications slightly improve traction in the same manner as a spoiler.

The Online vehicle uses a single-cam V8, four-speed transmission and four-wheel-drive layout. It is slower in acceleration and maximum speed than the older Granger, but its mass makes it useful for ramming. Soft suspension and the tall, heavy body produce pronounced lean in hard turns and poor agility, although it remains easy to control with little oversteer or understeer. Its engine sound builds on the earlier Granger, BeeJay XL and Bodhi, with additional effects associated with the Kamacho and Barrage.

Known issues include non-solid black window-frame sections that can expose occupants to gunfire from certain angles, and brake discs that look too large for their calipers. Tinting the windows blacks out the front fog lamps and rear-bumper reflectors. Since The Criminal Enterprises update, the rear door does not fully open and cannot be shut through the Interaction Menu. Earlier Expanded & Enhanced faults involving launched players, spinning characters and incomplete armour plating were fixed in that update.
