A transit bus is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, first visible on the busy freeway that opens the first trailer and later shown packed with passengers in Vice Beach on the promotional website. Its front profile, roof and side windows suggest it is based on the New Flyer Xcelsior, while its white and blue livery with a green stripe recalls Miami-area transit buses.
Promotional appearances and liveries
At 0:03 in the first GTA VI trailer, another example can be made out farther ahead on the freeway beyond the nearer bus. The same trailer shows a white-and-blue scheme divided by one green stripe.
A Vice City promotional screenshot uses a white-and-blue version with a single red stripe instead. An all-white bus appears in the second trailer and in a separate Vice City screenshot. These are the three paint treatments shown in the available promotional material.
Xcelsior bodywork cues
The vehicle’s real-world reference is the New Flyer Xcelsior. Its resemblance is concentrated in the front-end shape, the roof treatment, and the arrangement of the side windows rather than being identified through a named in-game manufacturer.
The green-striped white-and-blue treatment resembles the Miami-Dade County Metrobus colour scheme. The red-striped and all-white versions have also been shown, but no operator name, manufacturer name, price, variant designation, modifications, handling information, or technical specifications have been presented.
