A racing powerboat is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, first cruising a river near the Leonida Penitentiary and later racing across the bay with two other boats in the first trailer, while a Whirlwind-liveried variant appears among many boats in an official screenshot. Its design appears influenced by the Skater 388.
Trailer and screenshot sightings
The unnamed motorboat is shown in GTA VI promotional footage at two points in the first trailer. At 0:03, it travels along a river by the Leonida Penitentiary. At 0:24, it is part of a three-boat run across the bay.
A separate official image places a Whirlwind-painted example in the Leonida Keys. That image shows it among a large concentration of other boats, rather than alone on the water. The trailer locations and the screenshot therefore document the craft in both an inland waterway and the Keys region.
Skater 388 design basis
Its form is based on the Skater 388, a real-world racing powerboat. GTA VI material identifies the vehicle only through that inspiration; no separate in-game name is given here.
The confirmed GTA VI examples include the standard-looking boats seen in the trailer and the Whirlwind-liveried version in the Leonida Keys promotional screenshot. No price, manufacturer, modification list, performance information, or earlier-series appearance is established by the available material.
