A full-size Willard station wagon is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, first revealed in the September 2022 leaks, where Lucia shoots at it in a test-bed environment and Willard badging is plainly visible on the grille, rims and tailgate. Other leaked clips show it parked in a Hamlet lot and passing the Cipher Mall in red.
Leaked Footage Locations
The development footage used temporary San Andreas licence plates on the wagon. Its described appearances are all from the September 2022 leak material, rather than from trailers, screenshots, or other promotional releases.
The vehicle was seen in the Vice City region, including Hamlet and the Cipher Mall area in Rockridge, Vice City. In the mall footage, it is painted red and drives through a scene involving Lucia and police. The test-bed clip shows Lucia using an M16 against the vehicle.
Buick and Chevrolet Influences
The wagon is chiefly based on the 1971–1976 Buick Estate Wagon. Its long side profile also draws from the second-generation Chevrolet Kingswood Estate, giving the bodywork a second named real-world reference rather than relying on a single donor vehicle.
Its interior follows different Buick references: the 1970 Buick Estate Wagon and the 1970–1971 Buick Sport Wagon. The exterior and cabin therefore take inspiration from several early-1970s American full-size wagons.
