The Karin Asterope GZ is a four-door sedan added to Grand Theft Auto Online in The Chop Shop update and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. Its in-universe marketing frames it as a sleeper for the tuner scene, an outwardly unremarkable saloon meant to surprise flashier machinery.
Watson Bay GTA VI Sighting
A white Karin Asterope GZ was visible at a distance, parked in Watson Bay, in an official Grassrivers screenshot. This is the specific GTA VI appearance shown so far. The sighting places the car in the Grassrivers region, but the image does not establish any further GTA VI availability, variants, or customization details.
Karin is the in-game manufacturer. The Asterope GZ is classified as a Sedan, with a midsize four-door body.
Camry-Led Exterior Design
The main real-world basis is the fifth-generation Toyota Camry, chassis code XV30. Its overall proportions and much of its identity follow that Camry, while several individual features draw from other compact and midsize sedans.
The seventh-generation Honda Civic sedan, the ES, informs the headlamp arrangement, lower side-profile treatment, side moulding, rear-bumper details, and exhaust area. The lower front bumper combines an inverted interpretation of the facelifted XV30 Camry with cues from the North American ninth-generation Toyota Corolla, E120. Its rear-lamp pattern resembles that of the third-generation Hyundai Accent, MC, while the standard grille refers to the 2004–2006 Mazda3 BK.
GTA Online Introduction and Sale
Before its GTA VI sighting, the Asterope GZ entered Grand Theft Auto Online through The Chop Shop update. It could be bought from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $459,000.
The vehicle appears in the GTA Online jobs “Mr. Faber Work” and “Current Liabilities,” where it is used by The Professionals. No pre-GTA Online appearance is identified here; the documented earlier-game history begins with its Chop Shop release.
Trim-Inspired Modification Parts
Its available visual upgrades borrow from Australian and North American versions of the XV30 Camry, including references to different facelifts and trim packages. The Executive Grille follows the look of the 2005–2006 Camry XLE.
The Flared Skirt incorporates features associated with the optional ground-effects kit offered for the Camry SE. Inside, the Asterope GZ uses the Feroci interior and the Feroci White gauge treatment. The same interior family is also used by the Coquette, Blista Kanjo, and Euros.
Suspension and Bumper Fixes
At first, the Asterope GZ’s suspension customization category was unavailable. Bottom Dollar Bounties later enabled it.
Another early fault affected the Race Front Bumper selection: choosing it left the Street Front Bumper visible instead. The intended race-bumper geometry could nevertheless appear in reflections, including Auto Shop floor reflections, because it existed in the vehicle’s lower-detail model. Bottom Dollar Bounties corrected that bumper issue as well.
