The PED Cycles Cruiser is a leisurely beach-cruiser bicycle featured in the Grand Theft Auto V era, where its in-game copy mocks buyers paying a premium for a slow, brakeless ride along the shore. It is documented by the wiki in connection with Grand Theft Auto VI, though the excerpt itself confirms only its earlier appearances.

Beach Cruiser Construction

The Cruiser takes its form from the beach-cruiser bicycle style associated with the 1930s. Its comfort-oriented build uses a heavy frame, chrome or silver mudguards, reversed chrome or silver handlebars, a broad black saddle, and a right-side chain cover. A single lamp sits at the front, while a small red reflector is fitted at the rear.

Frame paint can appear in several primary colours, but the chain cover remains grey. The bell uses a different design from those fitted to the other bicycles. PED Cycles is its in-game manufacturer, and it belongs to the Cycles class in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

V-era Availability and Handling

In Grand Theft Auto V, Pedal and Metal Cycles sold the Cruiser for $3,000. It could also be picked up from Mr. Spoke Bike Rental at Vespucci Beach, the grounds of a white Rockford Hills mansion near its pool, Mirror Park bike routes, the Vespucci Beach path, and the northbound path on Mad Wayne Thunder Drive. In Grand Theft Auto Online, its store price fell to $800; it appeared only rarely at the same general locations, although using one around them improved the chances of another spawning.

At about 20 km/h, it was the lowest-speed bicycle and also the heaviest. That weight prevented both bunny hops and wheelies, though stoppies remained available. Its cornering was rated ahead of every bicycle except the BMX. Rockstar’s in-game sales description says it lacks brakes, but the bicycle still brakes normally in play. It is listed as due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, but no trailer moment, screenshot, promotional placement, or region is provided for that version.
