A self-propelled cargo barge is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, seen crossing the Leonida Keys in the first trailer, early in the second trailer, and doubled up in an official screenshot. It takes the form of a conventional deck barge with capacity for roughly 18 containers and a small cabin mounted at the front.
Leonida Keys appearances
In the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, the self-propelled barge is shown moving south-west through the Leonida Keys at 0:35. A further appearance occurs near the beginning of the second trailer, at 0:12. These are confirmed promotional appearances rather than references to an earlier Grand Theft Auto title.
An official Leonida Keys screenshot also depicts two examples at once. The trailer footage and screenshot place the vessel in the Leonida Keys region; no other region is identified. Its listed vehicle class and body type are both motorboat.
Conventional deck-barge basis
The design follows a conventional deck barge, specifically a self-propelled example rather than an unpowered barge moved by another vessel. Its open working deck is described as having room for about 18 TEU, using the standard container-capacity unit.
At the forward end, the barge has a compact cabin. This forward-cabin arrangement is part of the real-world-style deck-barge layout reflected by the vehicle. No manufacturer, price, named variant, modification options, handling information, or technical performance figures have been identified.
