An automated metro train operated by the Vice City Metro Mule system is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, seen stationed at Vice City International Airport in the September 2022 leaks. The cabless blue and grey people mover carries yellow and white Metro Mule branding on its sides and ends, with double sliding doors and a fully open-plan interior, mirroring its automated real-world inspiration.
Airport and trailer appearances
The VCMM train was first shown in footage from the September 2022 leaks at Vice City International Airport, where it stood ahead of a second train. It later appeared departing a station at 1:51 in the second Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. These sightings place it in the Vice City region and show it both at an airport location and leaving a station.
Miami people-mover basis
Its design draws from the Innovia APM 100, the automated people-mover train used by Miami's Metromover network. The lack of a driving cab is consistent with that real-world automated system. Grand Theft Auto VI identifies the in-game operator as Vice City Metro Mule, while the real-world comparison is specifically the Innovia APM 100 rather than a general metro train.
