The Bravado Bison is a crew-cab pickup truck returning from earlier HD-era entries and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. Its presence was first confirmed in the first trailer, where a black Bison sits parked in a shot of Vice City's artificial islands, and a utility-focused version operated by Vice-Dale County appears in later official material.
Vice City trailer sightings
Grand Theft Auto VI’s second trailer shows a Vice-Dale County Bison parked beside Interstate 97 at 0:35. The vehicle is associated with Vice City, where it has been spotted in official trailer material. Its first-trailer appearance is at 0:31, on the artificial islands; that earlier sighting is a black example parked in the background.
No GTA VI performance figures, purchase listing, customization options, or traffic locations have been established by the material shown so far. The County-operated truck is the only specifically identified GTA VI use beyond the parked civilian example.
Earlier-game pickup history
In Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, Bravado’s Bison was classified under Vans despite being a light truck with a crew cab. It was common in Blaine County, Sandy Shores, major roads around Los Santos and Blaine County, and construction-related traffic through the CARS_CONSTRUCTION vehicle set.
It also had fixed or recurring appearances around Paleto Bay, the Zancudo Treatment Works, Los Santos International Airport, Harmony Truck Stop, Davis Quartz, Humane Labs and Research, and U.S. Route 1. A full Bison could emerge from Donkey Punch Family Farm during the early evening. One was used by the men involved in Antonia Bottino’s Burial random event, while another appeared amid the Trevor-and-Lost chase in Mr. Philips.
The truck appeared in missions including Repossession, Lamar Down, Seeking the Truth, Chasing the Truth, Exercising the Truth, and Rednecks. Vagos, Ballas, Rednecks, and the Epsilon Program used Bisons; named associations include Marnie Allen, Debra, Floyd Hebert, and Manuel.
Truck design influences
The earlier Bison combines several real pickup cues rather than copying one truck outright. Its crew-cab proportions draw from the fourth-generation Dodge Ram Quad Cab, while the front bumper, lamp layout, and cab are especially close to the third-generation GMC Sierra. The grille resembles that of the second-generation Toyota Tundra.
At the back, the styling and door mirrors take inspiration from the twelfth-generation Ford F-Series. Its lower side treatment recalls the preceding Ram Daytona. The result is a large, work-oriented pickup with sport-truck elements, centred on a broad chrome-edged grille. Body creases on the tailgate align with chrome trim between the rear lamps and indicators.
Cab, bed and towing
The GTA V-era model used the Cavalcade interior, shared with pickups including the Everon and Sandking XL. It had one paint channel only, medium-profile tyres, and its own six-spoke wheel design. Two round fog lamps were fitted into the front bumper, although they did not operate.
The bed incorporated two utility boxes that served as the fifth and sixth seating positions, a layout also compared with the Bodhi. A rear tow hook allowed the Bison to pull trailers, placing it among the relatively few pickups with that capability.
Sales and driving traits
In GTA Online, Southern San Andreas Super Autos listed the Bison for $30,000, and Los Santos Customs paid $3,000 when one was sold. Its televised advertisement claimed 6,000 horsepower, an intentionally implausible number for an ordinary pickup; industrial haul trucks are the real-world type associated with outputs of that scale.
The modeled V8 gave the earlier Bison strong torque and a respectable maximum speed, but slower acceleration. Its four-wheel-drive system sent 20 percent of drive to the front and 80 percent to the rear. That setup helped it climb steep terrain and work off road, although stability was weaker in off-road truck races. The Bison name itself plays on Dodge Ram: both a ram and a bison are male bovids.
