The Vapid Chino Custom is a lowrider conversion of the Chino created at Benny's Original Motor Works, introduced in Grand Theft Auto Online's Lowriders update with only minor changes over the standard coupe by default. The excerpt documents only its GTA Online appearance; the base Chino, however, is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.

No Chino Custom-specific Grand Theft Auto VI trailer moment, screenshot, promotional placement, or regional sighting is documented. The available GTA VI information concerns the standard Chino rather than its Benny’s lowrider conversion.
Benny’s Conversion Cost
In GTA Online, Vapid’s personal Muscle-class Chino Custom is obtained by taking a standard Chino to Benny’s Original Motor Works. The conversion costs $180,000. Its recorded appearance is tied to the Lowriders update.
Body and Cabin Changes
The conversion keeps the regular Chino’s front and rear styling largely intact. CHINO emblems appear beside the tail lamps on the rear fenders, and these are larger than the badge at the back. The cabin remains close to the original design, but its rear area is smoother and incorporates two speakers.
Underneath, the Custom has a body-coloured frame, an exposed driveshaft, hydraulic hardware linked to the suspension, and two exhaust outlets in place of the regular Chino’s Y-shaped single-pipe arrangement. It comes with Big Worm lowrider wheels and whitewall tyres. Primary paint covers the body, cabin stitching, and lower frame; secondary paint is used for the inner seat sections. Interior and gauge colours can also be changed.
V8 Drivetrain and Handling
Like the regular Chino, the Custom uses a heavy V8, four-speed transmission, and rear-wheel drive. Its engine note is shared with the Chino, Buccaneer, and Manana.
Compared with the unmodified Chino, it accelerates better, reaches a marginally greater maximum speed, and reacts more readily through corners because it sits lower. Its turning circle is slightly larger, although this is mainly apparent in unusually tight manoeuvres rather than ordinary driving.
Gang Use and Mission Roles
The Ballas and Los Santos Vagos are listed as owners or users. It appears with hostile attackers during Grove Street Survival, is among the possible Exotic Exports deliveries requested by Brucie Kibbutz, and is used during VIP Contract missions in The Contract’s South Central Leak investigation and finale. Ballas also use it in the LS Car Meet-member version of the Vehicle Recovery Security Contract.
During the Popstar Payphone Hit, it can appear alongside a Buccaneer Custom when the target must be killed from a Vagos lowrider. It is also used in Steal Nightclub Goods.
Customization Quirks
A Chino Custom fitted with either the single or triple Bug Catcher Intake can still be sold an air filter, but that part does not become visible. The same issue affects the Buccaneer Custom and Tornado Custom.
As with those two other custom lowriders, the driver rests an arm through the side window while cruising slowly or stopped. This animation does not play in first-person view.
