Nimbus

The Nimbus was visible in the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer at 0:21, flying far above Vice Beach in Vice City. This is the recorded evidence for its GTA VI appearance; no GTA VI-specific interior, handling, purchase method, or customization details have been shown.

The aircraft appears at distance rather than in a close promotional view. Its confirmed GTA VI connection is therefore limited to that trailer sighting in the Vice City region.

Its shape combines features from several real business jets. The general fuselage, tail arrangement, and paint treatment draw on the Cessna Citation Longitude. The Citation X contributes the lower body, nose profile, and wing form, while the cockpit and engine models resemble those of the Gulfstream G550.

The result is a twin-turbofan monoplane with engines mounted beside the rear fuselage and a T-tail. A registration, NLS210R, is carried on the vertical fin.

Before its GTA VI trailer appearance, the Nimbus entered Grand Theft Auto Online through the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony update. It became purchasable on June 7, 2016, through Elitás Travel for $1,900,000.

In GTA Online hangars, it occupies the Medium vehicle category. VIP Charter Jets uses a Nimbus for transport to and from Cayo Perico. During the first Cayo Perico Airstrip scouting trip, one stands beside the hangar and is used only for the return flight to San Andreas.

It also appears in Dispatch III, High Rollin', and several Cayo Perico activities: Gather Intel, DJ Requests, and the Keinemusik assignments involving skate merchandise, pizza, and chakra stones.

The Online model shares its basic jet layout with the Shamal and Luxor, but has a sharper forward section, broad cockpit glazing, a port-side boarding stair, and two underside doors around the twin-wheel nose gear. Circular taxi lights sit in that area. Rounded passenger windows run along the central fuselage, while the swept wings have silver or chrome leading surfaces.

Its main landing gear retracts into a projecting belly section. Compared with the Shamal and Luxor, the rear tail structure is taller and more angular. The industrial-style wheel set is shared with those aircraft and traces its design to vehicles including the Mule, Benson, and Phantom.

Inside, the cockpit uses the Shamal and Luxor instrument panel and Lazer-style gauges, including animated green displays. The luxury cabin reuses the Luxor Deluxe arrangement: champagne stands, paired seating around small tables, bottles, glasses, ashtrays, cigars, and blank LCD screens. A second compartment has two seats on the right, with an unused stand on the left.

A personal-aircraft conversion allows primary and secondary paint colours. The primary finish covers the upper fuselage, while the secondary setting affects the undercarriage and much of the upper rear stripe and fin. With a metallic primary finish, pearlescent paint changes the lowest of the three rearward-sweeping side stripes. The middle stripe uses the wheel-colour slot, which remains grey on purchased aircraft and cannot be altered.

Against the Luxor, the Nimbus has a slightly higher top speed and stronger braking, but accelerates more slowly and turns less sharply. Its two turbofans use the same basic sound as the Luxor and Shamal, played at a greater volume.

One model defect affects the right nose-gear hatch: it sits slightly off position when shut, leaving small gaps and extending beyond the centreline.
