Duster

The available information identifies the Duster as an aircraft due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, but supplies no GTA VI trailer timestamp, screenshot, promotional image, region, activity, price, or mechanical change. Its earlier pesticide-spraying appearance in a first trailer belongs to the prior game’s material and cannot establish a GTA VI feature.

The design draws primarily from a crop-spraying conversion of the Stearman PT-17. Its vertical tail and engine cowl instead resemble those of the Stearman 4. The visible powerplant is a radial engine: eight cylinders sit around the crankcase behind the propeller. Although the PT-17 had controls for both occupants as a trainer, the GTA Online passenger cannot fly the aircraft after its pilot exits.

The game model carries its chemical-dispersal equipment below the airframe. Pesticide is emitted from the rear rather than the wings, matching the older Cropduster from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The spray neither injures pedestrians or players nor draws police attention.

The Duster followed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’ Cropduster. In Grand Theft Auto V, Trevor calls it a “Cropduster” during Minor Turbulence, where he uses a yellow example to pursue a Merryweather cargo plane. He crashes into the cargo hold and bails out before the aircraft falls away.

It also figures in GTA Online’s Los Santos Drug Wars content. In Fooligan Job: Crop Dustin’, one of two Redneck-owned parked examples is stolen to treat marked weed farms; a destroyed aircraft returns to its theft location while the spraying task remains active. Mutt’s friend uses another in the Acid Product-steal mission called Air drop to deliver a package. The Rednecks are its listed notable owners.

In both GTA V and GTA Online, Elitás Travel sells the Duster for $275,000. GTA V places it in the Planes class. It may fly around Grapeseed, land from time to time at McKenzie Field Hangar or Sandy Shores Airfield, and appears at a Marina Drive cul-de-sac on the Grand Senora Desert’s western side beside the Alamo Sea. That parked spawn, commonly red, begins only after all Flight School lessons have been completed.

The GTA Online enhanced edition categorizes a hangar-stored Duster as Small. It can become a personal aircraft and accept primary and secondary repainting, but its V-shaped upper-wing marking remains fixed, so obtaining a preferred combination may require trying again.

Most of the fuselage and wings use the primary paint selection. The nose, sides, and major wing-support frames use the secondary selection. The V-shaped upper marking is assigned to the wheel-color channel, although only one available color arrangement gives that channel a different value from the secondary paint.

The Duster is described as the slowest fixed-wing aircraft in GTA V, while retaining responsive handling. It needs a long takeoff run of roughly seven seconds. It appears only in a rusted state. Compared with the Nevada, it is tied as one of the series’ oldest aircraft, reflecting its 1930s biplane basis. A line in Minor Turbulence instead gives Trevor’s aircraft a 1989 manufacture year, conflicting with Elitás Travel’s 1930s-and-1940s description.

In GTA V damage behavior, the sprayer assembly is linked to the right wing, leaving it behind when the left wing breaks off, even though parts of that assembly are also assigned to the left-wing component. GTA Online pesticide effects are not visible to other players or in Rockstar Editor recordings, unlike Personal Aircraft smoke modifications.
