Rubble

The Rubble is stated to be due for Grand Theft Auto VI, but the available information does not identify a trailer appearance, screenshot, promotional image, timestamp, or in-game region for it. Its confirmed details therefore remain those established by its Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online form rather than a documented GTA VI redesign or feature set.

Every Rubble encountered in Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online is operated by Skiver Construction Corporation. It may appear with an empty load bed or with construction debris already piled in it, matching its construction-site role.

Its weathered presentation is consistent across spawns: the truck uses a rusty or faded finish. The cab can use one of a small selection of primary colours, while the tipper body receives a secondary colour. Industrial-style wheels are shared with the Phantom and Tipper.

The rear body is dominated by the tipping bed. Its tarp arrangement swings from a point near the lower centre, in a manner comparable to the Tipper, while the tailgate itself cannot be opened. Marker lamps run across the upper front of the bed and along its sides, with upright tail lamps at the outer rear corners.

The chassis carries fuel tanks on both sides, plus one oil tank on the left. Brown mudflaps resemble those used by the Biff and Trashmaster. The front end adds two pairs of forward-facing marker lamps between the nose and the air-cleaner units; these are absent on the Phantom. It also omits the badges placed above that truck's grille and along its nose sides.

Inside, the Rubble uses the Phantom's cabin interior, including analogue instruments and equipment drawn from several industrial vehicles. A CB radio is fitted. Trucker radio chatter can play even when the regular radio is switched off, but only when Trevor is being used in Blaine County.

The Rubble's mass is substantial enough to give a Cargobob difficulty holding it. Its size and weight make sharp turns hazardous, as the truck can roll over when cornered too aggressively. It carries over much of the Phantom's general driving character, although its maximum speed appears lower and its heavier build resists turning.

That same weight lets it push other traffic aside readily, similarly to other large trucks, and it is highly durable. Its engine model is not the Phantom's: it shares the Scrap Truck's front-mounted, turbocharged twin-cam four-cylinder. The sound remains that of the Phantom. Power goes to the rear wheels through a four-speed transmission.

A player can stand or ride on the cab without being thrown off. Motorcycles and compact cars can also be driven into the tipper and transported there. Carrying another vehicle adds weight, increasing the likelihood of a rollover in tight turns, while the loaded vehicle repeatedly strikes the bed walls.

In Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online, Rubbles can be found around the Port of Los Santos and Elysian Island. GTA Online also uses one in the fifth Mobile Operations mission, Cover Blown: when hostile forces begin appearing, a scripted event destroys that truck.
