The Bravado Youga Classic, a vintage van returning from GTA Online's Bikers update of November 2016, is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, spotted in a parking lot near toll booths in released material. Its branding is notably inconsistent, credited to Bravado in the game files but to Vapid on the website.

First Trailer Sighting

The GTA VI appearance documented so far is a shot in the first trailer at 0:31, placing a Youga Classic in a parking area by toll booths.

Ford Econoline Origins

The van draws chiefly from the 1969–1974 Ford Econoline cargo van. Its windowless side treatment, overall proportions and front-end arrangement follow that reference. The nose combines a small chrome bumper, offset driver-side plate mount, horizontal vents and a chrome grille surround containing four round lamps.

A short hood meets the sloped windscreen. Sliding rear-side doors, chrome door handles, chrome mirrors and wind deflectors above the front windows carry the period-van look along the flanks. At the back, a one-piece cargo door has a centrally placed chrome handle; rectangular lamp units sit at either side, with two red sections and a reversing lamp in each.

Classic Beside Youga

In GTA Online, the Youga Classic is the older-styled counterpart to the standard Youga, retaining its broad van layout while using more traditional exterior cues. It is classified under Vans in GTA Online and has a Light Truck body type.

The Classic carries four occupants in total: a driver plus three passengers. The regular Youga, by comparison, accommodates only the driver and one passenger. Its wheels resemble those used by the Police Transporter, although the centre sections are plain, and they are fitted with whitewall tyres.

Its cabin is an anachronism for the bodywork: it uses a more modern, plastic-trimmed steering wheel and interior shared with the similarly old Surfer and Journey.

Drivetrain and Road Manners

GTA Online gives the van a single-cam inline-four engine model also used by the Burrito, connected to a five-speed transmission in a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive arrangement. It has a low-revving diesel character, with slow acceleration and speed comparable to its newer Youga counterpart.

The Classic rides higher than the regular Youga, making rough ground more troublesome, while its limited output prevents it from becoming an effective off-road vehicle even after upgrades. It can nevertheless take a reasonable amount of collision and gunfire damage. Its engine audio reworks the sounds used by the Youga, Burrito and Pony, becoming more high-revving in character at higher engine speeds.

Custom Vans and Dealerships

The GTA Online vehicle was sold through Southern San Andreas Super Autos and Benny’s Original Motor Works for $195,000. Body paint uses a primary colour, while the roof and lower body use the secondary colour. A third colour applies only to fitted Sunshade and Arch Extensions parts.

Available liveries include Red Slash Stripe, which recalls the van from The A-Team; Surf’s Up, which resembles a Scooby-Doo franchise design; and Sausage Box, echoing Tamiya’s Lunch Box RC van. The spare-wheel modification provides a small traction increase in the same manner as a spoiler.

The additional headlights that can be installed on the front bumper do not function. Rockstar Games Social Club information also omitted Benny’s from the listed dealers, previously showed an incorrectly primary-coloured roof, and labelled the vehicle as not super-moddable despite its conversion into the Youga Classic 4x4.

GTA Online Service Roles

A Youga Classic can serve as a Bunker supply-transport vehicle, commonly painted white and sometimes carrying Rusted Out, Rusty Retro Stripe or Rusty Shop Van wear-themed liveries. In The Diamond Casino Heist, selecting Zach Nelson as getaway driver provides a black example with the Red Slash Stripe design.

Short Trip – Fire It Up uses one to move marijuana for the Vagos before Franklin Clinton and Lamar Davis take it. A Special Cargo theft mission added with The Criminal Enterprises also uses the van as cargo taken from a gang auto shop to the player’s warehouse.
