Kamacho

The Kamacho’s confirmed Grand Theft Auto VI appearance is limited to official promotional artwork showing Jason and Lucia: its rear can be made out at a distance while it crosses a bridge in Vice City. No trailer timestamp, close-up, interior view, or GTA VI-specific specification is given.

Canis based the truck chiefly on Jeep concept vehicles that themselves referenced the Kaiser Jeep M715. Its front treatment also draws on a separate Jeep design, while the rear styling and cargo bed take cues from the 2005 Jeep Gladiator Concept. The real M715 connection also places the Kamacho after the Bodhi in the fictional lineage, since the Bodhi corresponds to the M715 and the Jeep Crew Chief 715-inspired Kamacho follows that vehicle.

The name refers to the Honcho package offered for the Jeep J-10 between 1976 and 1983. “Kamacho” also echoes the Japanese-derived slang term associated with a person seeking attention. Its Go Fast Fade paint scheme resembles the graphics used on 1979–80 Jeep J-10 Honcho models.

Before its GTA VI sighting, the Kamacho appeared in Grand Theft Auto Online as a Canis light truck in the Off-Road class. It could be bought from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $345,000. The truck uses a 5.7-litre single-cam V8 with two air filters, a five-speed transmission, and four-wheel drive. Its engine audio is shared with the Granger and Dubsta 6x6.

The vehicle appeared in activities connected with the Duggan Crime Family, the Professionals, Agent Johnson, the Altruist Cult, and Duggan guards. A grey example with the Retro Red Stripe livery belonged to Agent Johnson, while a similarly liveried grey truck could serve as the departure vehicle in the Diamond Casino Heist when Chester McCoy was chosen as getaway driver. It was also among the possible Exotic Exports requests for Brucie Kibbutz.

The body combines a short rear bed with a soft cabin roof, square frameless doors, large wheel arches, tubular side steps, and underbody protection. A raised hood carries two external catches. At the front, a heavy utility bumper incorporates a winch, number plate, round auxiliary lamps, hooks, mesh openings, and a protective upper bar. The grille carries raised CANIS lettering, with circular headlamps and separate rectangular lighting below.

At the rear, CANIS is stamped into the tailgate. The bumper repeats the winch-and-hook arrangement, and the truck has square tail lamps, offset rear plate placement, reverse lamps, and two angled exhaust outlets. Its cabin instrumentation and interior are shared with the Cavalcade, Baller, and BeeJay XL. Main body paint also colours the engine cam covers, while the fenders and bumpers use the secondary colour.

Its standard rims use the same pattern as the Dubsta 6x6, off-road Mesa, and Sandking XL, matching the Six Gun muscle-wheel design. The wheels can receive a separate rim colour, including on naturally spawned examples. Roll Cage modifications slightly raise traction in the same manner as spoilers. Bullbars can improve durability.

High ground clearance, strong torque, and an even front-to-rear torque split make the Kamacho suited to uneven ground. It is described as quicker in both acceleration and maximum speed than the Riata and Dubsta 6x6, while retaining stable handling rather than readily sliding sideways. Its weight and length make steering heavier, although it still turns without major difficulty.

Several faults have been recorded. The roof-mounted light bar is unevenly rendered, with one half dimmer and lower-detail than the other. Detaching a fitted tubular door makes it revert to a standard door, and the tubular option retains the standard-door collision boundary. The loading advertisement misspells the model as “Kamancho.” Reverse lamps remain visible after the rear bumper comes off.
