Primo

At 0:31 in the first trailer, the Primo’s rear is partly visible on an Ocean Drive-inspired road in Vice Beach. An official Ambrosia screenshot later shows part of its front while it is parked beside a Xero gas station.

The GTA VI vehicle appears to retain almost all of its GTA V and GTA Online styling. Its grille seems to have a revised center chrome piece, closer to the earlier game’s optional Sports Grille treatment.

The Primo is chiefly modeled on the 1992–1997 Cadillac Seville. Its grille, headlamps and rear lights also draw from the 1987–1993 Cadillac Allanté.

Its proportions and several smaller styling cues come from the tenth-generation Toyota Crown.

Albany’s four-door midsize sedan appeared in GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City before returning in GTA V and GTA Online. The GTA IV model used a broad red rear-light band surrounding the turn and reverse lamps, a small trunk lip spoiler, and decorative high-beam lamps in the front bumper that did not work.

GTA V kept the basic exterior shape but altered the cabin and rear window. It removed the orange rear-window heating lines found on many GTA IV cars and omitted the older side-mounted amber indicators. The cabin used the Schafter interior type, also shared with the Asea and Asterope.

Earlier versions could use a single paint color or a two-tone scheme, with the secondary shade covering lower body sections and flat areas along the sides and rear. In GTA IV, a third color could affect bumper and door strips, grille, fender and window trim, roof, and wheels.

The GTA V and Online paint layout remained similar, but cabin stitching followed the primary body color and trim was fixed as chrome. Selecting custom wheels and the Mesh Grille upgrade caused the grille to share the wheel color. The standard wheel pattern, a flat disc with triangular or star-like shapes, also appeared on the Seminole.

A Low Level Spoiler could add Supercharged V8 lettering to the rear. Benny’s Original Motor Works was the only listed location for the relevant restricted option, and the car was sold through Southern San Andreas Super Autos and Benny’s for $9,000 in GTA Online.

In GTA IV, the Primo was described as using a supercharged V8 with a five-speed transmission, front-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive. Its engine note was shared with the Vincent. Despite strong top-speed potential, it had weak braking, poor acceleration and handling, substantial body roll, and a rear end prone to swinging out in sharp turns. Its sturdy construction could withstand several head-on impacts before stalling or catching fire.

GTA V and Online performance was said to be broadly similar, although comparable vehicles generally surpassed it. It remained resistant to crash damage and competitive for its price bracket. Installing custom wheels exposed a bug: the brake calipers could glow like the vehicle’s lights, especially at night in dark places.
